Network Trace shows how two points are linked on a river network.

My question: Can we take a navigation path returned from NLDI and send it to the profile services we use from national map to get distances and elevations?

For consideration: NLDI and the elevation profile services currently in use by StreamStats (provided by ESRI) may not be build from the same dataset - hence we could have some strange elevations returned for that path (streams going uphill, etc). Same could go for distances.
