When an event is selected, if you go to a site page and then navigate back to the map, the filters and event are cleared. Is that expected behavior or should we keep the event filter if they refresh on a site page and then go back to the map?

It's expected behavior with this fix lmao jk. Going to close this PR though and fix that because it needs to be working for other issues.
