For the email, do we want to try to make the focus more on submitting talks or registration?

TIL GitHub checkboxes have restrictions. I checked off UK RSE, CASC, Campus Champions, NCSA Slack, and ADSA!

This email is a general registration one, the talks are mentioned in one bullet in the middle so I'm worried people are going to miss it, do you have a link to the the more general email advertisement with an emphasis on soliciting talks?

There is still time to submit Talks and Posters for US-RSE’24! Good news, everyone! The deadline for US-RSE’24 Poster and Talk submissions has been EXTENDED to MONDAY, JUNE 17, 2024. Please consider submitting your idea for the second annual US-RSE Annual Conference. See the Participate page for more details.

Talks

Talks will take place across the entire conference. They will be oral presentations lasting 12 minutes with 3 minutes for questions, organized into 90-minute sessions. Submission template here.

Posters

The poster session will be held on the evening of the first night of the conference, October 15th. Poster constraints will be announced to accepted posters. Submission template here.
