we could use a rubber case to add minimum weight along with rubber parts that fit into the sockets to shield the components

An injection molded case with a rubber seal (similar to Tupperware) might be a good solution however heat in Egypt can hit 50ºC so Heat might be a problem

we could use a cover like neoprene rubber to place over the vents as it is waterproof but it still lets air in
