@doublah : I'm sure it would be useful to the tool developpers if you indicated the precise reasons why you believe recaptcha "contradicts our license and privacy policy" and "discriminates against non-GoogleChrome users" so that your points can be addressed more accurately....
On https://utrs.wmflabs.org/index.php it says "This project is licensed under the GNU General Public License Version 3 or Later.", which implies all on that page is licensed under said license, including the captcha.
On https://utrs.wmflabs.org/privacy.php it says "At no point will your data be provided to a third party for any purpose", yet recaptcha obviously collects a lot of private data and stores it on google servers.
Plus it is known that google frequently lets users signed in to google services with no cookie/tracker blocking through recaptcha with just one click. I also recommend reading https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/9vmsyp/google_recaptchas_targeting_firefox_and_other/
https://www.hcaptcha.com/ is a potential "better" solution, but still requires loading 3rd party JS
Recaptcha seems to actively contradicts your license and privacy policy, plus it discriminates against non-google/chrome users.
