Project Description

Building a tool that scans networks for open ports, services, and potential vulnerabilities, similar to Nmap.

Key Features:

Port Scanning: Implement a basic TCP/UDP port scanner to identify open ports on a target machine.
Service Detection: After identifying open ports, detect what services (like HTTP, FTP, etc.) are running.
Banner Grabbing: Fetch service banners to find version information that may indicate vulnerabilities.

Tech Stack:

Python: Use Python’s socket module for port scanning and libraries like Scapy for packet crafting and sniffing.
