Set up a help mechanism that works for folks on-site & virtually #10

The "help wanted" label can only be used by people who are listed as collaborators on the repo. So we either need to get everyone registered as such or have another (possibly additional) mechanism.

I think it's best to simply open a new ticket here. I have set up my email to give a little audio notification for incoming messages from this repo.
