TedX talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4PZ0DxxWgA
I just watched the talk - provides good background info on why the topic is important, but does not give details on how they went about addressing it. The Tumblr website has a bit more info on their expedition and how it relates to toilets, but still not much detail about how they actually addressed/ improved toilet-related issues.
Here's a - very incomplete - map of toilets around the world: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/toilets#map
Some websites specifically for World Toilet Day: http://www.worldtoiletday.info/ https://water.org/toilet-day/
This idea was very helpful as an exercise to understand how linking information in Wikipedia is done, how relations to various databases could be entered, and how those connections could be displayed in Scholia. Plus, it was fun to think about the different ways the toilet device is different from the toilet as a room and the different facets of a toilet :)
