this unit is too old to have a basal rotation (b_age = 720). The particular history with this unit is that its age was too young by several hundred million years. When it was too young, it got rotated. But when we fixed the age, the rotation didn't get dropped.

We should ideally just recalculate the paleocoordinates of everything periodically.
