It seems straightforward to allow searching over the documents here via existing xDD APIs (e.g., snippets). However, one key question is how to easily specialize the search to just documents with the appropriate context.

Maybe we can maintain some xDD sets (e.g., criticalmaas-public and criticalmaas-private) that we keep up-to-date with which documents are in both xDD and this API?

This can be alongside having sets (e.g., usgs, criticalmaas, etc.) for all relevant documents, which would presumably mostly overlap with the above sets.

One thing that might help here also, especially as we finalize links to @skybristol's GeoKB and other document sources, is just a document that runs down "How to access CriticalMAAS documents via xDD"
