The e-mails sent by tell have all the non-message guff ("At foo bar told me to tell you:") before the message, the same as the actual tell delivery. This is inconvenient for inline previews - especially on phones - because it wastes quite a lot of space when the message is much more important.
Perhaps formatting it more like an IRC message would work, e.g. "bar: message\nAt foo bar told me to tell you.".
