Add structure and content to news page

We need to create a group news page for the website, in news.html. I think at group meeting last week @jnnsmpth volunteered to help with this. I have assigned this issue to her for content, and to myself for structure. Basically what we need is 4 or 5 news events, with a picture and brief synopsis of each.

@pfaendtner can you think of any recent newsworthy events for us to start with? off the top of my head, i'm thinking GRFP for @sarahalamdari, FOMMS talk for you, welcoming @jnnsmpth to the group, and a post about the FHL retreat.

So far, I have:

1. GFRP for Sarah
2. FOMMS talk for Jim
3. FOMMS poster for Sarah and Luke
4. Luke's project for NRT Data Science Accelerator funding
5. Sabiha's CEI fellowship
6. Janani joins the group
7. Kejia, Khushmeen and Daniel defend MS theses and graduate

Will work on these first and add more along the way.

@jnnsmpth I don't see a branch for this yet, so I'm starting a new one (we can both work on it at the same time). I'll try to set up the structure for each news post this morning so you can just plop in the images and descriptions when you are ready!

I'll be modeling our news page after the one on the ISB website, both because it looks nice and because I'm obsessed.
