I have successfully installed, connected and ran Gorilla player on my local machine on the emulator, using Visual Studio.
However, after download and install of the Gorilla player apk on my Samsung device, I am unable to auto-discover the wifi network/server through the newly installed Android app.
Selecting the network/server manually has neither been successful as the app simply reports through a pop-up that it has 'Timed out' (I noticed though that it actually runs for a longer while, apparently trying to connect as far as I can tell). For this purpose, I added the IP address of the local wifi with and without the :8080 port extension but still couldn't get any connection.
I have tried to find a guide on the connection process for the app, but haven't seen anything useful yet in terms of my specific issue. Aside from that, the guides that I was able to find seem to be several years old and no official documentation seems to exist.

Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance...
