What are the differences between orb extractor source code between 1,2, and 3 version

Hi,

I wonder if there are significant changes between ORB SLAM 1 ,2 and 3 system in terms of orb feature extraction since those are different.

In addition why don't this system just use openCV orb feature extraction module
