to make mailman3 future prove we need to find a solution to make it work without using the qmail files. Mailman should have other methods to receive mails or to lookup a mailbox via IMAP.
Maybe you have any ideas about this @komaspieler as the original author of the guide?
if its not possible with mailman2 or too muc of an effort, we could thing about removing the guide in favor of mailman3
