Chart structure-extraction evaluation in GOT #116

Hi,

GOT is an impressive work, which can support many complicated modalities including formula and chart.

For supporting the structure-extraction evaluation of chart domain, Table 5 uses an evaluation metric (SCRM, Structuring Chart-oriented representation Metric) that is proposed in our prepint paper, StructChart. However, we noticed that GOT cited OneChart but overlooked the citation to StructChart. It should be noted that while OneChart employed SCRM for chart evaluation, it was not the work that proposed the evaluation metric.

We would be honored if you could consider including a reference to our StructChart in your revised manuscript, which also can help future researchers better understand the chart evaluation metrics SCRM. Below are the details of our citation:

@article{xia2023structchart,
  title={Structchart: Perception, structuring, reasoning for visual chart understanding},
  author={Xia, Renqiu and Zhang, Bo and Peng, Haoyang and Ye, Hancheng and Yan, Xiangchao and Ye, Peng and Shi, Botian and Qiao, Yu and Yan, Junchi},
  journal={arXiv preprint arXiv:2309.11268},
  year={2023}
}

Thank you very much for your consideration

Best regards

I am very sorry that we missed the SCRM citation. The structure-chart metric proposed in your work is very important. I will update the citation as soon as possible.
