Home page is the Activity which is opened as soon as User Launches the app so we wanted to create a home page which will be make user explore the app with enthusiasm,.

This is an example of a home page we are looking for .

This is an example of the college fest so we were thinking to do something similar to it. PLZ suggest us some ideas related to this or something better no need for submission for MOCK UI.

The home page can show some stories, Cool Showcase challenge , latest quizzes.

We can have:

• a CardView which has links to the stories of scholars (videos/blogs)
• a dashboard section displaying how much percent of the total quizzes/challenges completed by the scholar. We can have a circular progress bar inside which we have the average percentage of the completed work.

(The dashboard section can have a summary upon clicking on which, a new activity opens which shows the detailed info.)

• a TODAY'S GOAL text which displays a random quiz/challenge for the user so that he/she gets motivated and is engaged in the app.

We can put up following things in these cards:

1. Latest Headlines from the Android World (using any News Channels API to fetch the data)
2. Quotes and Stories of a) Mentors and Advanced Android Developers b) Fellow Scholars
3. Latest Quizzes and Challenges for User
4. All Issues In The Open Source Collab Projects that the User Can Contribute To.
5. An implementation of Droid Terms app in which User can get information about a particular term (related to Android) just by searching it.

Finally the App Should be Themed in regard with Latest Material Theme Guidlines.

Your shown homepage is nice, there you could have,

1. List which showing link for udacity classroom, for continuing course study. Card view showing link to slack or forums directly.

2.CardView showing pictures on Demo Android layout or components, after clicking it could show detailed logic of view.

3. Upon each lesson there could a quiz box, and along with sample snippet of solutions.

In homepage you can create 3 parts. 1-to show latest activity on GIS. 2-to show recommend post(e.g-GIS Stories,Quizzes) 3-to show categories: (Members,GIS Stories,Projects,Challenges,Quizzes,Community.

On the home screen, you can have few things like: 1 - First up a slider with recent stories/challenges. 2 - The Quizzes which are been solved most - their link like most top quizzes and all. 3 - Upcoming Quizzes and blogs teaser or so. 4 - A more tab to have extra things like Inspirational stories/famous blogs.
