Or they suggest this iframe but I am always averse to iframes since we would need to manage the content through a CSP content security policy

This appears to be 2 separate asks. A link to a contact form with the above email is simply a matter of updating an anchor tag to redirect to whatever the users default email provider is. That takes about 5 minutes dev effort...

Adding a contact us iframe would be an actual contact us form embedded in the site. Like you mention that brings all sorts of complications including having to probably add captcha to the form, etc. A contact us form whether we write our own or use the Microsoft iframe takes around 4 to 8 hours depending on dev experience.

I would recommend keeping it simple and doing the 5-minute effort. I can have a translator help me develop the same form in Ukranian and link it in the original form, which would require no rework
