Use server-side proxy for live data #5

Instead of pushing to the JSON, we could use a server-side JSON which is regularly updated (i.e. cached for a day).

I'd probably try to give this a shot using CORS, if only to learn about it, but I probably won't have (enough) time before tomorrow.
