I presume you're talking about the USB cable printing version?
The Ultimaker LAN printing has only the estimated completion time, not the remaining time:
I agree that the estimated completion time would be more useful, and perhaps a combination would be best.
I'll agree that I've wanted to know when a job finished and how long it actually took when printing through the USB cable. The information displays up to the final second of printing and then since monitoring of the print job is done, that function is reset and the information is lost.
It would be nice to have somewhere a date/time and actual print time to be displayed. It doesn't necessarily have to be on monitor screen and might even be an plug-in to keep print histories. Just an idea.
Yes, I only use the USB cable to print. My 3D printer is not network-capable.
I am currently using Cura 4.11.0. Printing Time and Estimate time left are displayed on the Monitor screen
Is your feature request related to a problem?
On the monitor page, there is the estimated time left. I have to look at the current time and then figure out the actual time and date the job would be to finish.
Describe the solution you'd like
On the monitor page, there is the estimated time left. I have to look at the current time and then figure out the actual time and date the job would be to finish.
Describe alternatives you've considered
It would be nice if the program would simply display the actual clock time of the day the job is finished. If the job would take to the next day, it should display the date also. Example:
Printing Time: 05:21:37
Estimated time left 04:52:35 The print job will be done 2:45:30 PM September, 16, 2021
