Cura Slicing Fails after Memory Spikes #15506

5.3.1

Platform

Ubuntu 20.04 - GeForce RTX 2060

Printer

anycubic kobra

Reproduction steps

Loaded in a large model, attempt to slice. Memory spikes to 100% for a while, then slicing fails with an error.

Actual results

Slicing fails, every time.

Expected results

The model should be sliced.

I also tried to use mesh tools extension to "fix model normals" as I saw that was potentially a fix for this in another thread. No dice.
