Overlap models to alter settings appear to move from where they were when reloaded. #15530

Open dwendooley opened 1 year ago

dwendooley commented 1 year ago

Application Version

5.2.2

Platform

Windows 11

Printer

Creality CR-6/SE

Reproduction steps

Load model. Add a model (used calibration parts 2.2) cube. Resized it and set it to "Modify settings for overlaps". Overlapped part of main model. Altered infill setting to give more infill where needed. Sliced and sent to octoprint. Saved project. Closed Cura.

Actual results

Reopened Cura. Loaded the 3mf. Open as Project. The overlap model has moved compared to the main model, it no longer overlaps where I need the additional infill.

Expected results

Should not have moved. That's odd. Repeatable.

Thanks for the report and the file. I can duplicate this using your project file. A workaround would be to "Group" the models before saving the project.

The Calibration Shapes plugin is by @5axes and he will take a look. I'll leave the bug label on this as maybe Cura is interfering somehow.
