Cura Version

5.6.0

Operating System

windows 11

Printer

Snapmaker A350

Reproduction steps

I wanted to print two items of the same kind with a hight of 36mm. With one item in the printing area with messurements x320 y350 z350mm everything is ok.

Actual results

As soon as I duplicated the part in the printing area the hight of the printing space colapsed to a minimum and I got a warning that ther is not enougth room

Expected results

It should be possible to print two parts or more in one session as long as they fit in the above mentioned printing area.

Sounds like you have the Print Sequence set to One at a Time. This will automatically restrict the build volume for individual models based on the Printhead Settings (under Machine Settings) to prevent the tool or any gantry it's attached to from colliding with models that have already completed. Such collisions can result in damage to the models or the printer itself, though will usually only result in a print failure.

You will need to either alter the Printhead Settings or revert the Print Sequence to the default All at Once option. Note that altering the Printhead Settings can re-introduce the possibility for collisions and should only be done with the appropriate considerations (and I would still monitor the print for the duration to ensure nothing goes wrong).
