Glitches in the preview visualization #18521

Cura Version

5.5 and 5.6

Operating System

macOS Sonoma

Printer

Creality Ender 3 v2

Reproduction steps

  1. Add a file to slice
  2. Slice
  3. Go to Preview

Actual results

The sliced layers, but with a lot of glitches in the 3D visualization. The printer still prints as expected.

Expected results

A clean view of the sliced layers.

Thanks for the report. The Peter Maxx bug. Not often seen. Can't be duplicated on purpose. I'll mark this as a duplicate. Here is what I get from your project. image

My bad then! Tried to look for an existing issue but didn't found any. Glad that you named it, so now I'm able find them. 😅

Yes, a few minutes after submitting this issue, it suddenly stopped, even in the same project...

It's my favorite bug ever. Totally impossible to find and eradicate. I could have named it the "cockroach" bug but most of the ones I've seen are too pretty for that.
