how do you use these files?? #5

Could someone tell me how do you use these files?? I'd like to build this printer but need the building plan,drawings,3d files and sizes of all the materials to build it?? I'm new to github..

I sent a message yesterday to Ultimaker via the YouMagine site indicating that the source files appeared to be incomplete as you have noticed. The only thing I see here is a BOM with ultimaker specific part numbers. Their response to me was: . Best thing to do if you need to know more about our source files is to file an issue on GitHub: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Ultimaker2 .

So, thank you NightFalcon650 for doing this. I'll guess we'll wait and see what happens. j

Just to elaborate on this. These are all the parts in the machine.

So, if you want to build an Ultimaker2 yourself, while sourcing all the parts. You should go trough the list of all parts. And depending on each part, buy it or make it.

As for assembly instructions, we are working on that bit. The current assembly instructions that we have are in dutch, and are being translated at the moment. So those will follow.
