Swipe for changing shift does not lit up the caps lock dot #230

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start with shift off
2. swipe up for shift - icon lit up (good)
3. swipe up again for caps lock - little dot does not lit, but keyboard is
in capslock mode

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the little dot should lit up, just like when pressing the shift key

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

devices with f/w 1.5 may have problems. If so, please report.
Devices with f/w 1.6 or higher will not have problems for sure!

Using 1.5 (MoDaCo 2.9) on a Hero still lights up the green dot only when
pressing and not when swiping. The
dot gets green when swiping left to the second symbols keyboard, but it goes
away after swiping up or pressing
shift, and doesn't light up again.

Knew it would be a problem in 1.5.
I'm not sure it is fixible-there is missing api call in
1.5

Just confirming this is still a problem in 1.5 (modaco 3.1) on htc hero.
