Green light for all-caps incorrect

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Press down on the Shift key
2. While holding down, drag onto another key and let go
3. Observe that the green light gets toggled

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected no light to show because usually, a 'drag' only triggers the key on 
which the 'release' is caught. In this case, the 'pressdown' is on the shift 
key 
and release is on another key.
What happens was the green light gets toggled.
It functions correctly, though.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Softkeyboard Version:20100327-x-dvtel-testers (release 16)
OS: 2.1-update1 + cyanogenmod 5.0.5.3-N1
