KaO3 -> H20 converter. #94

Would like to request karbonite to water converter. Primary purpose to allow closed loop life support production in LKO for resupply vessels outbound of kerbin SOI. Being able to harvest water in LKO allows all long term mission supplies to be procured while in orbit.

I think I read somewhere that in the near future astroidal resources will have a method of getting water from asteroids. While not as good as being able to convert karbonite which is infinite in LKO, letting us get it from asteroids still saves us having to haul it into space.

If you're looking at other mods, why not use his MKS/OKS mod which is specifically made for having closed-loop life support systems?

I am most definitely using mks. When I submitted this request at first karbonite allowed harvesting of water from LKO via particle collector. That feature is gone now, and at the time I wanted to be able to supply deep space vessels with life support supplies for long voyages without having to lift the supplies into space. Since asteroids may now provide a solution, and since ORS is better supported and implemented, water isn't as big of an issue any more.
