I had to perform a reinstall. I installed the USI mods via CKAN, and I get the parts in the VAB (Nom-o-matic, etc), but the life support system itself seems to be absent. There is no life support button present. I tried reinstalling the mods through CKAN, but no luck. Is there something else I should check before I blow out this install and start from scratch again?
