After updating to 2.9.0, no html errors are shown. Reverting to 2.8.0 fixes this. This is on VSCode 1.55.

Confirming what @khagaroth said. Reverted back to 2.8.0 and I'm on VScode 1.55 as well.

Problem to connect. VSCode 1.55.2

A request has failed.
The HTML Validation Service server crashed 5 times in the last 3 minutes. The server will not be restarted.
