Yeah it's running, you can see it there in the "Minercheck.exe" "Miners:" output. It's injected into svchost.exe.

SkirmisLTU commented 3 years ago

But it isn't mining. image

Edit: same on minergate

UnamSanctam commented 3 years ago

You can't see the GPU usage that it uses with the Task Manager, you can check with something like MSI Afterburner.

SkirmisLTU commented 3 years ago

Same thing :/ image

Press the Monitor looking button on the left side to get the GPU usage info, you can't see anything on the main screen. If that doesn't display any GPU usage then try another pool since MinerGates servers are horrendously bad and they steal hashrate anyways so it's not recommended to use. You can try something like Ethermine something similar, also keep in mind that ETH will hard fork in a week or two which will bring down miner profits (by design since they want to move to PoS) so either keep mining ETH or you can mine ETC or any other Ethash coin.

Okey, it started mining (my compur overheating now :DDD). I have same problem with XMR miner. Can you suggest pool for XMR?

Thank you.

UnamSanctam commented 3 years ago

Well, nanopool is the only XMR pool I know that doesn't ban you though their UI, share difficulty and such are a bit worse.

SkirmisLTU commented 3 years ago

Okey thank you :) ethermine isn't showing that i am mining, but I think i need to wait. You are the best 🥇

I have few questions more before closing this issue.

Where can i found list of all cryptocurrencies that this and XMR miner can mine? Can XMR and ETH miner run at the same time? XMR: How can i add email to nanopool with XMR miner, where i need to type email in miner for nanopool?

UnamSanctam commented 3 years ago

The ETH miner can mine the Ethash and Etchash algorithms while the XMR miner can mine these https://xmrig.com/docs/algorithms. Both can run at the same time yes as long as you don't enable "GPU Mining" in the XMR miner, one will mine with the CPU and the other with the GPU.

For nanopool you add it into the "Wallet Address" field after the worker name like so: WALLET.Worker/Email You can type anything into the email field, it doesn't actually have to be an email. You could type 123456 and it would work, just remember that it has to be at least 6 characters long.

SkirmisLTU commented 3 years ago

Thank you for your answer.

I still can't setup email on nanopool (XMR). I am trying: qwertyuiop.{%COMPUTERNAME%}/example@gmail.com In nanopool it says Incorrect password. I have only one worker, it has more than 10 rating. What should i do?

UnamSanctam commented 3 years ago

Try using something like 123456 as a password instead, I haven't been able to get it working with an email before.
