how to mine another ethash cryptocurrency like Expanse? #80

i dont want to mine eth or etc .. i tried to mine expanse but nothing work

What do you mean by 'nothing'? What are you trying to do and what happens when you try to do so?

when i open the builder nothing happend

pc not VM , when i run it nothing happen like i am running the miner lol

Then there is something wrong with your PC, do you have the latest .NET Framework installed?

yes everything is installed and the latest version of the builder is working fine

Ah, you mean the miner? If you run start test 100%.bat what does it say?

is this a miner? i only tried the exe one i thought its a builder ( not the .bat files ) ill try it again when i woke up cuz im in bed now and i dont have any amd card here now

If i make worker name "rig1" and start program on 2 different account, will it has 2 different ID on 2miners or they will be calculated?

If you start it on another account? Then it would just show one worker on one account and the other worker on the other account like always. If you mean that you mine with two miners with the same worker name on the same account then it will just combine the hashrate under a single worker name.

@UnamSanctam the latest version of the miner worked with rx 580 but not with all of them i dont know why ( all of the drivers are up to date )

Are all of them 8GB? Since there exists RX 580 4GB as well.

Hey guys, why if i put in calculator 1 1060 card, the result shows best variant ethereum, but if i put in calculator 1 2070 card, the result shows best variant cortex?

Because all cards mine at different speeds and can mine different currencies so it can change depending on the card. These other coins might be quite unstable though (in price, etc) which can also be a reason. But as you can still see Ethereum is the most profitable over all.

Are all of them 8GB? Since there exists RX 580 4GB as well.

Well, If they're all the same card and they all have updated drivers then there shouldn't really be any reason why it shouldn't work

You're using the wrong miner, this is the Ethash/Etchash miner but Ravencoin uses the KawPow algorithm which is in the https://github.com/UnamSanctam/SilentXMRMiner. To mine Ravencoin go into the 'Advanced Options' and change the --algo=rx/0 to --algo=kawpow in the 'Advanced Parameters' field.

will "idle" option works in XMRminer if i mine on gpu or it will be always 100%?

It's technically always at 100% but just like the ETH miner it should automatically go down if another program needs it.
