what is the use of binder and downloader what is its pupose, can u plz explain in simple language?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_binder, a binder binds files together as a single executable and then when ran extracts those files onto the disk and executes them (if enabled). The download does the same but downloads the files instead of combining them into the executable.
