Currently, mining on most Zephyr pools is not possible. It says the following - " In order to protect the interest of our miners, mining with NiceHash order fluctuating hashrate is only allowed on SOLO mining. " Am I misunderstanding something?

If you have a large hashrate that fluctuates then on some pools you have to do solo mining (to prevent hopping abuse and similar things), it should say in your pools documentation on how to do so.
