Build libgit2 from source #472

Currently the build relies on libgit2 being installed by Homebrew. This is a simple, effective approach, but it only installs the latest version and isn't good for debugging.

[x] Build libgit2 (and dependent libraries) from source so that specific versions can be used, and source files are available for debugging.
