This just feels like a lazy way out of development. If players see it capped, it will be even worse than just seeing it go up. For a good player experience, there needs to be cause-consequences. It would be better to see if credits should instead be used as a way to gamble on oneself, win or lose. A player should feel the sting of misplaced actions and the happiness of a worthwhile thought , and credits is the perfect battleground for it.
@Entity645 I wouldn't say it's lazy, we really did only add the credits system as a better method for unlocking kits. We never intended them to be spent on anything else except vehicles, so asking us to invent new purposes for them isn't so simple. Think of them more like CS:GO cash that resets every round.
Credits were implemented solely as an unlocking system that gives players more choice than predefined levels. Once you have all the kits, there shouldn't really be any more purpose for credits. It makes sense to cap the amount each player can have to 10 000 or something to prevent players from acquiring large amounts of pointless extra credits and feeling like they have nothing to spend them on.
