Mom's Wig Luck Overflow #2077

According to both the Wiki and EID, Mom's Wig should have a 100% chance of spawning a blue spider should one reach 10 luck, with the formula reported by the former as being "1 over (20 minus Floor(Luck times 2))", leading to a maxing out of the percentage at 9.5 Luck.

However, this formula does not seem to account for any Luck value that may come ABOVE 10. The formula itself appears unsanitary should the Luck value be at 10, but it should become worse beyond that, giving the item a negative chance of being triggered. Is my speculation correct, or is there an external factor that could perhaps cause Mom's Wig's effect to not be triggered, despite my luck stat being at 13 using Perfection?

Apparently a CTD and Restart fixed this? Linux never fails to disappoint.
