Keep_alive of the ConfigStreamProcessor doesn't work with branching #48

Also do branching, similar to #47, the keep_alive flag doesn't work well with branching. If a branch is used, multiple instances of the forwarder are instantiated and random ordering and dependencies in the forwarding occur.
