Resize image before sharing #255

Piktures has a nice feature that allows me to resize my images before I share them.

An extra menu appears after choosing the app to share it with and it let's you choose between a few resolutions.

I would not mind this ON THE CONDITION that just sharing the original image remains an option and the dialog is not intrusive.

I would not do itnif I were writing the app, though, citing feature creep. A separate app would probably suffice.

I currently use imagemagick (ported to android) to resize images before sharing anyway since that gives more control over quality.

Get SendReduced !?

sn0opy commented 8 years ago

@wyatt8740 To have this as an option is totally okay to me. Im just concernced about the resolution and file size. Most of my images are normally like 1.5 MB up to 5 MB, depending on the colors on the image and stuff.

@licaon-kter not really that convinient to have another app between. Beside that, it doesn't support the new sharing dialog.

@sn0opy I like this feature, added to the todo list, I'm gonna also make it optional!

I think it'd also be a good idea to allow the user to enter arbitrary dimensions for the image if you're taking this route, rather than only allowing three or four common aspect ratios and sizes.
