The game-play for this event will function like a real life game of Laser Tag would. You get a Gun to use to shoot at your opponents, and when the opposing team has run out of players your team wins.
Like in some laser tag games from real life, every gun has a charge level. You need to go to the charging station in order to re-charge your gun for action. There are multiple charging stations spread throughout the arena, and takes 1 to 2 seconds to complete. Now in the real world, some Laser Tag games give players only one life to compete in each round, but for Graal I would have that raised so that it can extend the game-play. Hit points are decided by the ET hosting, and can change the amount from 2 - 10. The amount of hit points that a player has will be indicated above them with a hit point meter. When a player runs out of hit points, they are removed from the game and placed in a waiting area until the match is finished. When a team wins 2 out of 3 rounds, they are declared the winner. Or can change depending on how the Events Team member chooses to host it.
To make the event more interesting, we would add pick-up or power enhancers to the game to add an extra variant to the game play. Such as a protective shield, or health regeneration, doing more damage e.t.c. These pickups drop at random in different areas of the map, and should last for for only 15 - 30 seconds.
Game Modes
Captains: One player is selected to lead their team to victory, and select members to play on their team.
Random: Teams are randomized for gameplay.
Free For All: Every man/woman for themself.
Sudden Death: Setting the hit points for each player to only 1. (Functions in all 3 styles of game play as a single command.)
Elimination: Allowing the ET Hosting to eliminate the losing team (Functions in all 3 styles of game play as a single command.)

Laser Guns: We will need a script for the laser guns for players to use. 1 Hit from a gun, means 1 hit point taken away from the person that was shot. Interacting with charge station to regenerate the gun from its cool down.
Game Elements:
Charging Stations: When touched by a player with gun with no charge level, it will recharge their gun from 0% to 100%. If a player already has a charged gun, it will notify them that they are already at full charge.
Scoreboard: A scoreboard to help players keep track on who is winning.
Player Count: To notify how many remaining players are still in the game.
Hit point meter: To indicate how many hit points a player has remaining.
Power-Ups:
Protective Shield Pick-up: A pickup item in the level where it gives players a protective shield for short period of time.
Health Regeneration Pick-up: A pickup item that will Regenerate hit points for the player that picks it up. Maybe set a count to 1 to 2 hit points depending on how it works best
Offensive Enhancement Pick-up: A pickup that will allow the player that picks it up to do 2x as much damage for a short period of time.
