Hey everyone!

I just wondered if anyone had an interesting idea on how to visualise the data.

I've done a simple bar chart showing the number of headlines over time, but it might be nice to add something else too. I thought about:

Adding key events to the timeline e.g. siege of Aleppo, bombing of Idlib and Homs, chemical attacks etc.
Plotting the evolution of certain keywords over time
Word cloud containing most common words/nouns

Just let me know what you think :)

Hey Amanda, they all are excellent ideas! I think we could also do a line chart. Also, if we detect the peak dates, we could specifically analyze the most frequently used words. I assume that it might show us how the speech changed throughout time about Syrians. What do you think? :)

Hey Beyza! That sounds like a great idea! :) I've just added another R script which finds the top 10 keywords for every month with more than 200 headlines. Maybe we could somehow add this information to the bar chart? We could even make it interactive so that when you hover over a month then it displays the keywords. What do you think?
