nested KVM virtualization for PPC KVM-HW is in Linux v4.20. My current problems wouldn't be so bad if I just left my system up in running, because I could run nested virtual machines.
Also, it is possible this is the reason that kernel's later than Debian's 4.19 are crashing. (if so, that bug should reported)
