Closed vmlemon closed 5 years ago
Closing this issue, since I figured out that I had to create another RSA key, on my local machine, and then import it into the OpenStack UI, and associate it with my VM. Not massively intuitive, but at least I'm able to gain access, now. :)
After creating a new instance of big-endian Debian Jessie, attaching the VNC console, and waiting some time, I'm able to SSH into my instance, however I can't actually log in, as either "debian", or "root", or some obvious username, since I'm never provided with my account password, at creation time.
Is this documented somewhere, in a private communication, or derived from the SSH key, or do I need to request it from somewhere, in order to gain access to my new VM?
I changed my main MiniCloud password, from the one provided in the welcome e-mail, as prompted, but neither password seems to let me access my instance.
Thanks, in advance.
