setMethod is erroring out when trying to run the NEXRAD3 notebook #134

Hmm, I just pulled the latest version of python and python-awips and am able to run the NEXRAD3 notebook with no issues. (With the exception that I needed to specify the version of numpy < 2)

Can you do a conda list to show what versions of everything you are running?

I had a different attempt than you did initially. I tried to use the latest numpy and just modify the thrift module. That is what got me to the setter error earlier. However, I reverted everything and downgraded to numpy 1.26.4 and am still getting a setLevelType error.

@tiffanycmeyer13 Correction, I am using release 23.4.1. It appears some of the DataAccessLayer calls and other files have changed for this release with the DAF.

Okay, yeah - this version can only run with version 20. because some of the code calls did change. Once we get the okay, we will release the python-awips version that will run with version 23.
