for a valid DESCRIPTION file one "cre" is needed. This person is not necessarily the creator of the package but the maintainer. This person must also provide an email. Currently I just put me there but am very happy to put someone else in addition or replacement if wanted!

should the EU and the funding statement also be clearly shown in the README? At least the project is named once with link under Development Process and Contribution
