Box highlight causing eye strain

That highlight which appears on all sides of a box (light blue) really bonks my eyes out, especially since it shows up through all other geo. Can that be killed? Sorry, not sure if it's a Unity or us thing, eyes hurting too much atm to go back in and look...

Note: talking about highlight in Shape mode, not Edit mode.

Explained yesterday - this is referring to Unity's selection tool overlay when a ray hovers an object.
