Ubuntu: Use Keyboard shortcuts. In the default setup, Ctrl+Alt+{Arrow key} switches to a different workspace, while Ctrl+Shift+Alt+{Arrow key} moves the active window to a new workspace. For example in this way it is possible to the "game" window to a different workspace.
@Others please note ways you are able to achieve the same.
Software that is run with Wine doesn't recognize other workspaces on the desktop, so it not possible to drag a Unity Editor inner window to a different window using the mouse.
