Unity Installation fails/doesn't continue #72

Everything went fine with the script till it executes the downloaded assistant exe CLI just reports this: fixme:wininet:query_global_option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECTED_STATE: semi-stub

Nothing happens after that message. At first I thought it was working but it doesn't seem to be?

What is this error and how can I fix it. I'm quite new to Ubuntu :/

Weird. I don't no what the problem may be, but you may want to try the native version: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-on-linux-release-notes-and-known-issues.350256/

I'd love to but the problem is the version difference between the Win and Linux version :/ A few critical bugs were fixed in the new releases so its currently no option. Gonna try the PlayOnLinux way now...
