I've used XML in the past, and recently purchased new anti-virus software (Bitdefender) and updated my auto backup software (Acronis). Since then, I haven't been able to run XML so I re-downloaded it and both software (Acronis has a anti-ransomware thing) are going absolutely insane. Like Bitdefender blocks every single tiny file that XML downloads (forcing me to jump through 10,000 hoops to get it to stop quaranting literally everything from XML), Acronis is going nuts. I'm not sure what to think here, it's one thing to have a false positive but both software insist this program is pure evil now (though Malwarebytes is happy as a clam as always).
