5 years ago One suggestion: Could the FFMpeg program be added? and that for each downloaded video, transform it to another format with that program with a simple command line. That can be edited from the program to indicate "mp4", "resolution", "bitrate", etc. So all the videos would be transformed to the same format. The process would be longer, but all the videos could be played. And even image quality would be controlled to save disk space
I had been scrapping almost all my games on my raspberry pi 3 running RetroPie. I gathered a lot of videos, but I noticed that the videos for some of my games (MAME in particular) are not playing. I looked in where they would be located and found that the video is present, and even plays properly on my PC. The way it is typed in the gamelist.xml file doesn't seem to be different from the other entries, so I have no idea how to solve this. Examples I can think of on top of my head are Aero Fighters and Air Buster. Info and marquee has been scrapped. The video was scrapped, but the video won't play.
